Andrea started the business over 14 years ago while on maternity leave with her second child. She began baking cupcakes and creating custom gift baskets for friends and family. Shortly after returning to Corporate America, she expanded her vision into event coordinating, custom mobile dessert bars, and teaching herself how to bake and decorate various desserts.

In 2015, Andrea decided to invest more into her business while still upholding an Assistant Manager position in Corporate America. That investment prepared her for a full-time leap of faith in 2021, when she walked away from a 65–70K career after 15 years of hard work. She says, “Walking away was not easy, but it was worth the sacrifice for my health, family, and business.”

Since then, Andrea has been featured on multiple local news stations, including Fox 26 Isiah Factor and CW39 Houston Happens. She has also worked with several artists curating events, including Houston legends Z’Ro, Beat King (R.I.P.), Rapper XO, and socialites such as Joseline Hernandez (Joseline’s Cabaret – Houston Premier).

Andrea is also the proud owner of two local bakeshops located inside Painted Tree Boutiques—Champions and Kingwood—both open 7 days a week from 10 AM – 7 PM.

Over time, Andrea has developed a passion for mentoring young entrepreneurs and conducting “how-to” classes in the cake and decorating industry. With a faith-based business foundation, she strives to provide excellent customer service while helping others gain confidence, skills, and creativity along the way.
